I painted a Jersey calf on a vintage mason quart jar. I owned a 1939 farm house in Tennessee that had been vacant since the 1990s. I had many discoveries including vintage mason jars in the barn. They deserved a new life. I decoupaged the surface with a paperback copy of George Orwell's "Animal Farm." Then painted the calf using acrylics. This is to be used as a vase or storage for non-edibles.
