When I was a young mom, I loved my baby ponchos.  I could slip it over their little heads and tuck it in if they fell asleep in the carseat or stroller without waking them.  No need to try and get their little arms through tiny sleeves. I've now made the simple pattern into a woodland elf, instant Halloween costume.  I am available through email to help you through any part you might need help understanding.  Skills needed:  knitting in the round on circular cable needles, decreases are explained fully.
